  1. Check the thermal paper

Thermal printer must use thermal paper, and only the smooth side of the paper can be printed, Here’s a little tips. take a swipe with your nail, and the black scratch will be on the side of the paper that will print, In addition, thermal paper also has a warranty period, the best to understand before buying, once expired will possible can’t print, judge expired or not, the same is a sharp object to scratch, no black scratch is expired

  1. Check print head

The thermal printing head must with high temperature to make the thermal paper image, You can see if the printed receipt is illegible to determine whether the thermal print head with problem, If it is, it’s usually a thermal head stain ,can be gently wiped with alcohol sponge, and should consider replace head sensor if still illegible

  1. Check the roller of printhead

It need to press the thermal paper firmly with the help of a roller, If the roller is loose, this will lead to poor contact between the thermal printhead and the thermal paper, can’t print out, At this time you can open the cover, check whether the roller is pressed to the paper.
